I looked at todays topic early to try and gather some ideas for what I wanted to write about. While running through many ideas, I started to realize that, even though it is rather cliché, a moment I have felt most satisfied with my life was the day I graduated high school.
Literally, I feel like that idea has already bored people. Which, I get it. It's typical, and it's normal. But I want to elaborate on why I felt satisfied, and why it mattered to me.

Graduating high school is not only a transitional point in life, but a process.
When I stepped into Eastern Alamance High School for freshman orientation, I already had thoughts and hopes, of graduation… Why are young people so guilty of "wishing life away?" I can't answer. But I do know that in 4 years time, I made memories that will last a lifetime and learned lessons I will forever be grateful for!
On the day of graduation, I felt the most satisfied for a few reasons.
- Not only was I closing a chapter of my life… I was opening a new door, full of opportunities and plans. When I shook Dave Ebert's hand, and took my degree, I felt so much satisfaction knowing that I had been as successful as I had in high school. As a member of National Honors Society, athletic organizations, and other clubs, I felt like I was a part of the community in Mebane and Eastern Alamance. Much more of my satisfaction came from the idea of these future opportunities and plans. I was accepted to 4 of the 5 schools I applied to, and chose to attend the University of North Carolina at Asheville to pursue New Media (although this has changed, I have enjoyed my first semester, and am looking forward to this semester). All of these combined made my palms sweaty, and eyes fill with happy tears in hope for what was to come!

- I got to watch my best friend experience this moment too! Every time someone I had a great friendship with, or had invested time with in high school walked across the stage, I felt such joy for them. These feelings also made me realize how great the moment itself was--but also, the satisfaction with life in general- happiness, and success. So wonderful!
This topic has made me realize how great each moment of life is. How do you define satisfaction? And what is true satisfaction of life?
Currently, I feel that I am attempting to reach this satisfaction on a daily basis, and that is no easy task- for anyone. To me, part of being satisfied is being happy, working, and living life to your greatest potential! After completing this 30 Day Challenge, I hope that I can have a different most satisfied moment in life… Because we should have a life filled with these moments!
