HAPI Lab and Hamish Horton...

Among the abundance of awesome people here at UNCA, there is Hamish Horton. Hamish and I met first at orientation, but it was brief, and honestly I never thought I'd end up being friends and co-workers (kind of) with him.

Hamish is a self-motivated, organized, and creative person. He isn't afraid of correcting the wrongs, and he likes to hear what other people think but doesn't always listen. His dreams are large; his will to work towards them admirable... and working with him to help create the visions he has is pretty flipping awesome.
Interviewing in the Sherrill Center, UNCA

Since Hamish has been at UNCA this semester, he has become a leader in a videography group called Vorton Pictures- as the main founder of the "indie club," Hamish prepares meetings, launches ideas for videos, and gets all materials/schedules ready to filming.

For his service project, and for Vorton Pictures portfolio, Hamish scheduled an interview with a volunteer at H.A.P.I. Lab... A Healthy Again Program Initiative (http://hwp.unca.edu/hapilab) ...

I cannot wait to see how the rest of this video turns out- it is truly a pleasure to work with someone who is so passionate about following his dreams, and not waiting to start later- but doing it today! You go Hamish.
