Day 10 & 11: First kiss, first love, and iPod Shuffle Challenge.

College has a funny way of taking over, and I usually mean this in the best way possible. The demanding time management skills, constant feeling of having something to do, and remembering to shower and go to the gym- it adds up more quickly than I'm usually ready for.

I guess before I fluff too much, what I'm getting to is that my 30 Day Blog Challenge has gotten a few days behind. But, instead of trying to pace myself to have a blogging marathon, and really really catch up. I'm going to be producing some shorter blogs and maybe more than one a day to make this finish strong.

It is shameful to tell this story.
Every girl thinks about her first kiss… There is the Princess Diaries foot popping kiss, the slow moving in looking at the lips, then back at the eyes kiss, there's the tongue sticking down your throat first kiss…

And then there's my first kiss… A chicken pecking, kiss and run kiss.

In 8th grade, the group of girls I hung around with were often super adventurous, and always getting into something. Keep in mind, I am talking of myself here too! Anyway, we were sitting at a chorus concert, bored, and got up because the guy I had been texting lived walking distance from school.

He invited us all in and we kinda just sat there, then we needed to leave… So they all left me inside with him.

I was SO scared.
I had never kissed anyone until then.
He awkwardly cornered me into the door, and had a dip in his mouth (gross) and like leaned in…
And basically, as I said before- I chicken pecked him, and ran out the door saying "Byeeeeee!!!!" And all of my friends were laughing and screaming because I had just kissed this weirdo.

Needless to say, I didn't kiss anyone else for awhile.
I remember better my first "real" kiss, that actually meant something to me… And I bet Dakota was more nervous than I was :)  (Love you!)


Day 11: iPod Shuffle Challenge

I don't have my iPod at hand, but I'm going to shuffle my iTunes and list the first 10 songs that pop-up… This might get awkward, because my iTunes is like a childhood treasure chest full of good and bad stuff, so please, enjoy.
