DAY 7: Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.

It feels pretty nice to be back in Asheville.
I was greeted by lovely faces, and a clean dorm room- but boy was it not fun unpacking all afternoon.
On a good note, I am eager to start a new semester, and even more eager for no class next Monday!

Day 7 is an easier post for me.

March 24 | Aries.

As a Ram, I feel that my zodiac sign fits my personality. The three main terms used to describe an Aries on PsychGuide.com are: Adventurous, active, and outgoing. Later, in a Huffington Post article, Aries greatest weakness is stated as "Not finishing things you start…" and that is sadly true with many of my long lost art projects, poems, and other missing projects!

Element: Fire.
As posted in the same Huffington Post article, the element of Fire states, "Fire doesn't plan it next move; it isn't logical. It simply is in the moment and will burn what fuel is available without judgment or forethought. For this reason fire signs can successfully rely on their intuition and survival instincts." This, I do not think parallels great with my behavior as an Aries. Very frequently, I find myself planning for my next steps, and taking an initiative to make sure that those plans are feasible as well as having a plan b, and most times c. Although I do agree with being able to host myself as a 'warm fire, and light," I cannot fully say I successfully rely on my intuition and survival instincts… Maybe I should test them more often, ha.

Another thing that stands out to me, one that I do feel fits my personality, is on Psych Guide…

Life Pursuit: The thrill of the moment

I feel that on my good days (because let's face it, we all have crappy days where the only thing that needs to happen to top off the sundae is lost money, stepping in poop, or dropping your phone in the toilet), I am a HUGE advocate of enjoying, and making the most, of every moment. Being positive and happy takes practice… and practicing is the beauty of living that type of life!

At the end of the day, I do believe that my personality fits right well with my zodiac sign. I find it interesting that it lines up pretty nicely, makes me wonder how others feel about their signs and personalities!
