Burlington Lines at Sunset. (Taken with iPhone 4S) |
Of all the things I have thought I was ready to do in life, going to college has definitely been one of them. But, as many of my peers would probably agree, leaving behind what I've known for the past 18 years... It's much harder than I thought.
Tomorrow will consist not only of packing most of my clothes and shoes in my trunk and duffle bags... But also saying "see you later" to a few people, animals, and places that are very dear and near to my heart.
It's amazing, you know, how the heart grows fond of people, places, and things so quickly.
I have enjoyed my many adventures while living in good ol' Burlington.
From my many walks home from school (Turrentine Middle), to my countless conversations with Wren at her kitchen counter-- and all of our lovely trips back and forth to Mebane at the wee hours of night or morning.
Volleyball practices and tournaments... Endless barefeet in the backyard.
Many runs up Edgewood Ave.
Car rides to school in the morning.
Learning how to navigate through Mebane.
Laughing until I pee with my future roomie...
3 years with the sweetest man I know.
Many nights of tears, hugs, and laughter spent with my parents.
A childhood full of arguments with my silly brother.
Maisey, Lucy, and Bad Cat.
My own bed.
Going to Asheville will no doubt be the biggest adventure I have taken on head first.
I am fully committed to living our this adventure with you guys...
I hope to continue to find my inspiration, and passion with behind the lens... seeing things from a different perspective each and every new day.
As I embark on my new journey, I ask that you guys keep in touch, and follow along.
As soon as I have my mailing information I want to share with anyone who would like to send me little letters of encouragement, or random postcards to make me smile.
Thank you for supporting my passion.
And here's to what is to come next...
